Here at Advanced Angling Solutions we have tried to produce a contour hugging deceptive colour blend of leader materials to keep are anglers far out in front of the competition. After many months of research and testing are consultants hit upon using subtle bands of colour to break up the outline of the leader and allow Deep Descent Lead Core to melt into the background. These truly innovative ideas where developed until we felt sure we had the colour blends correct. The Deep Descent Lead Core camouflage colours have been chosen to replicate the most common types of lake bed that we fish over. There are two Deep Descent Lead Core colour combinations available, camo weed/Silt and camo gravel brown.
Deep Descent is easy to splice using Advanced Angling Solutions needles and that’s the best way to achieve a secure loop. It’s a relatively thin lead core for it’s breaking strain and is remarkably supple, laying over bottom contours nicely. Splicing leadcore produces an extremely neat joint which is stronger and far more streamlined than any knot.
Exhaustive breaking strain tests have shown that a spliced section of approximately 30mm (1½ inch) is sufficient to obtain maximum join strength.
