The Preston big float waggler adaptors offer a convenient, tangle-free attachment for loaded pellet wagglers. These adaptors are perfect for Pre-weighted wagglers and pellet wagglers and allow the float to be locked in position without the need for locking shot or float stops.
The adaptor is made up of a metal stem, with a quick link swivel, with two tapered silicone sleeves on either end. It is quick and easy to fit and provides a semi-fixed attachment for your float which will stay in place during the cast but can easily be moved up or down the line to adjust the depth if needed.
To set up, simply remove the two sleeves from the adaptor and thread them onto your mainline ensuring they are facing opposite directions. Hold the metal stem against the line at the desired depth and then slide the silicone sleeves over either end to lock in place. Then simply attach your chosen waggler to the quick link and it’s ready to fish.
The stiff metal stem combined with the sleeves greatly helps to reduce tangles.
The quick link is attached to a swivel which helps reduce line twist when casting and fishing and is round in shape. This ensures your float sits in the middle of the snap increasing casting accuracy and reducing line twist
