The Trakker Tempest hit the shops ten years ago, and from that point, it became and still is one of the most popular bivvies on the market today. Celebrating its tenth year, Trakker has bought out a Limited-Edition Tempest X 100 Bivvy System Bundle in their new DPM Aquatexx EV material.
This new Aquatexx EV material is incredibly waterproof and breathable, and in my opinion, it is the best bivvy material on the market. Also, the Tempest X features an Adaptive Ventilation system that circulates air around the bivvy, making it feel cooler in warmer weather. Also, this system and the Skull Cap Wrap that comes with the bundle helps to reduce condensation build-up, making the inside more comfortable.
The frame is made of Aero Grade aluminium which keeps it extremely light and very strong, and it has the Anti-Twist system in the legs to keep them in place. The shape and size of the Tempest 100 frame have been designed for one person with optimum storage space.
